1/600 MPC HMS King George V..........COMPLETE!

Nice job!  Are you planning WEM photoetch?  Also, I just saw in the latest Airfix newsletter that this kit, along with their Repulse has been re-released.

I do 1/700, so I hear you about the deck fittings, but doing them by hand is a tiny bit less frustrating than trying to mask around all of them. I'd say your King turned out justtttttttttttt fine!

Thanks.It definately is better detailed than other Airfix offerings.There might even be a current reissue out in places.

Nice to see what dedicated work will do to a build. Nicely done. I also have never seen that camo before.

Some modelers on another forum think this might not be a camo scheme as much as a combination of several different paint jobs.The most recent weathered to the point where underlying coats are visible.
