I want to thank all you guys so far with all the advice you've given me on the project I've started. I last asked about PE sets for the Trumpeter Hornet. I am waiting on the post to deliever my Nautilus Conversion for the Hornet and I plan on modelling an early war (April 1942) Enterprise. I noticed the conversion kit comes with replacement 1.1 guns and 5 inch guns. Has anyone on this board had experience with this Conversion kit and do you think those guns should be replaced with PE instead?
What is this boards opinion of the conversion kit?
