Heller 1:100 HMS Victory English Instructions Needed
Posted by Whiskers on Sunday, August 14, 2011 2:06 AM

Just ordered this beast from ScaleHobbyist.  They had it for $150 which is apparantly $50 less than what it normally sells for on Fleabay.  Look Forward to tackling it, but that will be awhile as I have several things in the queue ahead of it, but since it out of production I wanted to grab it before it became impossible to get.  Unfortunately, according to ScaleHobbyist, this version will not have the atrocious and nearly useless English translation to the instructions.   I know, no use telling me they are useless, but any resource in building such things can be a help, so even though they are "useless" I still would like a copy of them.  Any form is welcome, paper, pdf, jpg, I don't care. Someone out there must have a copy of these, maybe from a old build your done with, in which case you could mail them to me, or if you don't want to part with the physical thing, scan them and send me links or email of the scans.

No big deal. I have the instructions from the Imai version scanned, which also correct the many flaws in the original.

You kind of paid top $$ so it would be good to get it right.

Send Me a "conversation" with your email addy and I'll send them to you.

I'm glad someone else found these instructions difficult to comprehend.  I looked at the instructions for the rigging and found them nearly impossible to make heads or tails from them.  What kind of corrections did you do?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sent the conversation as requested, but I'll post here as well in case anyone else wishes to send me anything of use. My main email address is autrydn@aol.com, I can also be reached thru my windows live messenger either as email or chat at whiskerstheweary@hotmail.com.  Hope i'm not violating any forum regs by posting my email addresses, but this is the type of community that i don't fear getting spammed to death posting it.

Anything anyone wishes to send me to help my builds of the Victory, Constitution, or the Cutty Sark would be greatly appreaciated. This is a Great hobby, As a kid i must have built hundreds of models, and after 40 years I find I enjoy it just as much as I did than, only I can afford much bigger and better models.  I also find it much easier cause of the resources i find on the net.
