I was thinking about constructing models of the USS Nipsic (barracks ship) and the USRCS Bear.
Given the similarities of the hulls of these ships to the USS Kearsarge/CSS Alabama, I was thinking about using a Kearsarge or Alabama hull as the basis for these models but DO NOT want to alter one of these rare kits.
However, I have no problem altering a model that someone else started and abandoned, especially if some parts, other than the hull, are missing…
So, if you know where to find one of these hulls, please tell me…
