A company called ArtWox has them now but the only place I have found that carries it is Freetime Hobbies and they are out of stock.  www.freetimehobbies.com/aw10060.aspx

" As far as grain you can not find any real wood deck that the grain is scaled down, unless someone is using 1/350 scale trees."

while technically correct, I think it depends on the type of wood used on how much grain the deck shows . some exhibit little grain (as below) some ALOT...like the teak one above.

If you wanna see a pretty convincing AM wood deck check out Fermis' build in the "Castles of Steel" ship Group Build in here...

I have two scaledeck sets and can say they are the thinnest and best fitting of any on the market.  John has a list of decks he is getting ready to release soon.  Can't wait till the Bismarck is ready!  As far as grain you can not find any real wood deck that the grain is scaled down, unless someone is using 1/350 scale trees. Big Smile

John also sells just a plain sheet with the deck lines cut in.  Can't say it would be cheaper then planking but a lot faster.

Does anybody make a real wood deck for 1/350 Arizona? thanks for your answer, Hank

Don't see any currently available.    The first generation, thicker laser-cut wooden decks had the problem that you had to remove the deck fittings from the plastic deck and replace them onto the wooden deck.

The newer decks made from micro-thin wood, such as these from scaledecks,  are better but still exhibit one of the major drawbacks in real wood decks;  1-to-1 scale grain.

This is their 1:350 New Jersey deck in teak.   As you can see, the graining is just too much.    Their Maple is sligthly better.    They do offer a laser cut photographic process which looks to be acceptable.

They do not have a 1:350 Arizona,  but one is in process.

Hank,

The answer depends upon your use of the information. Are you asking if a ready made deck is available? Or do you wonder if any modeler does this? Is the deck for the plastic Arizona? Or do you intend to model a 1/350 Arizona in wood?
