soya 1st corps pe

am currently working on an alanger 1/400 ST PANTELIMON nee POTEMKIN. injection marks in the wood deck and pretty much every part and forward superstructure piece is warped possibly beyond repair.at least that can be rebuilt rather easily. am getting the GMM 1/400 generic naval (and 1/30 merchant generic for revel classic LUSITANIA i just got). at least POTEMKIN will be good practice for BORODINO but why do we sometimes spend time on these old kits when there are so many new ones (but not that particular ship).

this may go into the club auction pile for next year. also picked up the old 1/200 ARMADOUR trawler and 1/130 SHELL WELDER coastal tanker

I just went ahead and got TOM,S generic rail set , one aircraft netting set and forged ahead . The ship has gotten me angry at times .The clear bulkhead took to many coats of paint for one gripe  !!      tankerbuilder

thanks for the reply. i now know more about this ship than i planned. your pe set looks like it's for the 3 corps which as the extended off the side and stern angular flight deck, there is a set for corps 2 which has a rounded flight deck the size of the stern. both are flush decked.

i have a 1 corps which has an elevated forecastle dropping down one deck to the forward cargo deck. i may just get some generic railings and helo platform netting. that's all i was really interested in. doesn't have any planes so don't need that.

it's rather far down the list of builds so i will keep looking. i think they did a pe set but appears to be discontinued.

My Soya 3rd. mentions use of a PE set so I assumed that Hasagawa manufactured these. You may try them for the PE set. Not sure if this is what you are looking for:
