Cool, thanks!  I am checking it out.

Just a quick question to the ship gurus here.  I was doing a little surfing for photo reference material for my trump Arizona and I found a page showing a Tom's Model works resin Arizona in her 1921 fitting.  I really like the clean look of the pre-war years and I thought it would make a neat before & after.  I figured it would be inconceivably easier to back date the 1921 fitting to 1918 rather than the 1941 fitting since I believe in '21 the hull had yet to be modified, a significant amount of the superstructure did not exist, and she still had her cage masts.

So back to the question.  Is what I found an old kit, if so how long out of production?  Are there any others out there? I suppose I could email TMW about this kit specifically, but the forum occurred to me first.  Thanks all

Adam

Toms went out of the resin model production business a few years back, around the time that  Tom Harrison passed away.   The successors to the company decided to stick with the core product of the company -- photoetched details.

All is not lost however.   Iron Shipwright now has the masters and production rights to the Toms 1921 Arizona.   A check of the webpage shows it to be in stock
