Ah , well , what can I say . I recieved my H.M.S. WARSPITE P.E. set today . HMMM, it seems like PETER HALL is some kind of magician ! P.E. with relief like LOREN PERRY,S .And everything else too ! Although I will say this in defense of LOREN .His stuff is the CREME'de le CREME here in the states and his prices are lower because of paying in regular AMERICAN bucks ! I mean no disrespect here ,The conversion rate between BUCKS and POUNDSis killing my modeling budget . I still would pay it though . I will also say this ,LOREN and I go aways back although he may not remember me . He and I crossed paths more than once when I belonged to the GOLDEN GATE MODEL YACHT CLUB , I was one of the fellows who always brought something that would get the judges at a judged meet uptight . WHY ? Well they were always worried the " BIG GUYS " i/e 1/48 , 1/96 would run me over . YEAH ,I was one them fellows who stuffed R.C. gear into a model of say LINDBERGS -SHRIMP BOAT " or the REVELL - S.S. UNITED STATYES or the PRESIDENT WILSON by good old PYRO .To get back to the reason for this posting .I will probably have the most beautiful H.M.S. WARSPITE in TEXAS , thanks to P.E. and those who produce it over the pond , and I know I will have the best looking U.S.S. BUCKLEY and CAMBELLTOWN due to folks here at home .Gosh , why didn,t P.E. come along thirty years earlier?.Oh well , I guess I have to enjoy it now .You know what ? I will . BYE----tankerbuilder
