Okay, here's the images of the Italeri 1:35 PT-109 display at the Nuremberg Toy Fair.  It's also listed on the Italeri web site as a release this year.  As it stands right now there are numerous errors on her, not of which can't be fixed.  My friends from the ptboats.org web site are reaching out to Italeri now to see if they can help them correct these issues.  No matter, I'm looking forward to this one to add to my PT Boat collection!

If the deck and hull are accurate you could take a 109 kit and, with the after market I'm sure would follow, either build up Kennedy's boat or select the '43-'44 barge buster of your choice.  There were so many field improvised variations in the armament of the 103 class boats that you'd have a wide range of options.  I can imagine the LionRoar super update for this one, having the one for the 596 boat.

The link doesn't show anything about an Italeri 1:35 PT-109.  I would love to see it though.  I might have to get a few of those bad boys.  So many options!

Looking at the attached link, it looks like Italieri may be about to give us a 1/35 103 Class early war Elco 80 footer in the markings of JFK's P.T. 109.  We can only hope that they have made the changes to the molds for the 596 to make the deck and superstructure accurate and not just changed the weaponry.  Be great to have an accurate P.T. 109 for us MTB fans.

Its just the top of a box, but it sure looks like something interesting this way comes.
