Wondering how you would recommend removing the molded funnel grill covers so I can replace them with PE? I've tried various methods all of which were sub par. Thanks! 

No magic bullet.

After drilling out the funnel top  (use bit smaller than final size) follow up with fine jewler's files.   Work slowly to the desired finished margins.   I use flat, square, half-round, oval and round files as necessary
