After getting the latest copy of Finescale Modeler..featuring the Flower Class Corvette...
Much to my dismay...do I find they do not make this model anymore...
Was made by Matchbox...sold to Revell...and now out of production..
This not the first time the FineScale has featured a model you can no longer obtain..
What to do!!!
You can find them regularly on Evilbay. Good luck!

Actually Revell of Germany announced a re-release of the Flower class Corvette in the end of 2012 in a "platinum" version with all kinds of PE and metal goodies:

Looking forward to the article (and a certain P-47 in the reader gallery), but my FSM hasn't hit my mailbox yet...

Some of my LHSs have them still on the shelves from the last re-release. I think because of the size they have not been going exactly like hotcakes. However, I think that FSM article will cause a spike in sales, so if you see one and you want it, you'd better snatch it up. Just be aware that you can spend a couple of times the price of the kit buying all the aftermarket stuff :-)
