                        Howdy folks! Just curious, Why are the MK95 illuminators for the sea sparrows recessed in dish-type platforms on the islands of carriers? Like these circled in yellow. Is an interference shield against stuff on the deck, OR was the mk95's emissions frying everyone's eggs on the deck?
