LPH-11 (or any Iwo Jima class) hangar bay photos

Ohhh yeah... dumb response on my part... I brain farted and was thinking LHD instead of LPH

As Penance I offer DefenseImagery.mil It's slow sometimes, but it has more historical photos that the Navy News site.

Here is another link to all of the Iwo class ships click on each ship and it will take you to the page for it ,on it you'll find down the page copies of the shipe cruise books they should help finding pics not only of the ship but the hanger deck as well (I found a pic of Iwo's hanger deck as the back drop for some of the crew pics) so check them close.

Here is a link to Navsource,and all of the Iwo Jima class LPH's it may help. I think trying to find pic's on Tracy's link will be a dead end for the class your looking for as the LPH's have been decomissioned for a while.

No disrespect to Tracy as he is a great source for any and all ship pic's and histories.
