Aurora/Heller Prestige Series 1/100 HMS Victory Instructions Needed.
Posted by docidle on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 7:05 AM

As stated in other threads, the “English” instructions that are provided by Heller are not the best, and I am not sure if the Heller 1/100 HMS Victory was ever produced in the Aurora/Heller Prestige series; however, if it was, does anyone have a digital or paper copy I can talk them out of?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

I have the Heller English instructions and could mail you a copy once I make a set so if you want them send me your mailing address. I also have the Aurora/Heller plans for the Soleil Royal and there's a huge and positive difference between them and the current French set with cryptic English translations on the last few pages. I have no idea if there is an equivilent Aurora version for the Victory.

I've got the Imai english instructions scanned. IMO they are the best If you would like a copy, PM me your email address.

No Aurora Victory, at that scale.

Jeff,

Thanks for the offer, but I have the "english" instructions that came with the kit which isn't saying much.  I was just wondering if the Victory was ever one of the Prestige series.  I have the Le Phenix, Royal Louis, Soleil Royal and Reale instructions from the Aurora/Heller kits and I agree with you, they are a so much better.

Thanks again,

Bondoman,

My email address is docidle8@cox.net and I really appreciate the offer!  Not sure which part of the Bay Area you're in, but I grew up in Alameda and miss it every summer.  Too bad there was never an Aurora/Heller Victory but at least I know that now.

Thanks again,
