Accordign to evey soure I read, the color for the bottom of the RMS Titanic is Terra Cotta, the perfect shade is made by Pactra, BUt IF you can't find that, a 99% close second is "Rust" by Testors.

*cough* This question is in the same vein as "What color were the battleships in Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941?" or "What color red should I paint the bottom of my ship?" *rips lid off can of worms*

There is no "right" answer. It depends on 1) What looks best to you, 2) How much money you can afford to part with, and 3) How far down the rivet-counting food chain you care to go.

My daughter and I were perfectly content with Revell's ancient box-scale kit. Your mileage may vary.

In my opinion all are fine although I have a sweet spot for the Revell "box scale" kit.Cowboy
