Second the Tam Fletcher.   It is a round-bridge version.    Good kit for a ship NOOB.

The Trumpeter USS The Sulllivans is a square-bridge variant.    It is not recommended to a new ship modeler.    It has some 'issues'.   The non-skid tiles on the decks are raised sidewalks,    The secondary & tertiary guns are little more than sticks on boxes.   The 20mm guns are for 10 foot tall sailors.  The stacks have big-honkin grills which need attention.   The kit definately needs aftermarket support - best bet for that is L'Arsenal -- but it puts the kit out of your 50 dollar price bogey.  All fixable,  but it takes time and patience and $.
