This should go a lot faster then the 1/350 Takao. Great subject and lots of goodies for it too.

Awesome Mark, looking forward to seeing her take shape.

Gee, I thought she'd be a little simpler than the Takao due to the lack of the large superstructure and rigging but the PE box is as large as the kit box! Indifferent

Sorry could not get back sooner as I have had Computer problems. I use C/A Glue where need and also White Glue if I need a little time to position a Part. I were good Glasses when working in this scale or an Optivisor will do the same Trick. Working in this scale means you cannot go past a Hold and Fold Unit. It makes life so much easier.......Cheers Mark

Looks good with the tire marks. Never fought of that. Probably would be oil stains as well.

Hi,

Like your build and learning from it.

if I may can I ask a newbie question I am working on a 1:700 model and having difficulty gluing on the P/E without smothering it with the CA, how do you do it at this level? I tried using a dip with a cocktail stick, mixed results.

Thx

Dave

Hi Dave. That is the system I use. I put a small amount into a bottlecap and use a Toothpick to transfer it to the Part. You use a little bit of glue at a time instead of one large amount. It is easier to build up the Glue that way than using too much in one go......Cheers Mark
