Floater for BB turents

I would like advice on how to make the floats on top of a BB turent.  Are there any after markets sets or do you have any scratch tips?

WEM sells some PE floater nets.   They are 2D and need to be beefed up with some white glue & paint before being coiled up and put in either floater net baskets or laid atop a TURRET.

A pet peeve of mine ... there is no such word as turrent -- it is a turret.  Look it up!

IMO, these 2D floater nets just look too flat, even when doctored up.   I've made some using 28ga insulated wire-wrap wire.     Strip off a length of insulation & discard.  Score the insulation on the remaining every MM or so and spread the disks of insulation evenly.   Paint a nice weathered tar black/brown and coil into baskets or atop your turret.
