I was recently gifted a kit of Trumpeters 1/350 Lexington circa 1942,the guy who had said he didnt have any place to display it even if he did build it. Now as I look at it ,I do'nt either.

Send that baby over to me!  I have a perfect spot for it.  It would look grand next to my WWII battleships

Is there a naval reserve facility near you?   They might  like to have it.  I have the same model, and do display it on a shelf in my den.  My real problem ship is the Heller Reale de France.  That puppy is fifteen inches wide, and will not fit on a normal shelf.  How to get rid of a Seventeenth Century warship model is a real challenge.

You know Don that is a very good route but being here in sunny N.W. Mn. the naval bases are few and far btwn. I think there may be a coast guard station on Lake of the Woods but I'm not sure. It sure is a cool model though, I think I'll give E-Bay a shot, although theres a dozen there already and noneseem to be drawing any bidders.
