I have a hard time believing it; my personal belief is that they feel it isn't really cost-effective; it's a feature many of their customers won't do, and the ones that want to already have ways of finding out what they need to know. There's a cut-off point for features and details their aim for.

Or they could believe no one does rigging anyway, so why spend effort on researching it.

I see that several pics of the ship show rigging but the actual tie in pts. are pretty hard to see.I have probably have a dozen pics of the ship and a few of it in 2004.If I knew I was going to build a model of her,I would have taken a ton of pics when I got the ride back in 2004 !!(of course sometimes the Navy is a little up tight about taking pics of the ships and Naval installations !!

I had asked a question about the termination areas when I was rigging my Encore Olympia recently.  Several hands replied with info on how and where lines were terminated on ships they served in.  That thread should still be available if you can find it in the list of threads further down.

I was bemoaning the fact that many instructions do not show these points, and the thread was very helpul.  I am about to start my Zvezda Dreadnought and there is no rigging info of any kind, not even any rigging shown on the plan.

Suggestion: Take a look as the USS Cole (DDG-67)

Thanks for the reply.I agree that most pics do not show the tie in pts. for the lines or wires.

I find a google image search pays off on pix and even some scale drawings, especially on newer, post WW2 ships.  Go to google, select "image" from the search options at the top of the page, and type in the name of the ship.  Many shots will not be that great for rigging detail, but some will.  Just did this for the HMS Dreadnought I am getting ready to build and came up with some excellent images, both some photographs and some graphic renderings.

Riggings has always been my problem. I cannot find any references as to where riggings should be or where it will go. Very basic is the signal flag riggings but otherwise we have to keep looking. I hope the master ship builders can share infos to us.
