Hi;

 Although you did a bang up job . I prefer either her or her sister as all gun ships .This was the only ship I heard of seasoned sailors getting seasick on . Although lots of aluminum was used the heighth made them roll sickeningly

Ah, the grand old days of beam-riding Talos and Terrier, where the directors had to be as big as gun turrets, and ship commanders had not, by necessity, retreated into CIC spaces.

So, ships needed to be certian dimensions, the Bridge needed clear views to navigate, and the like.

USN developed an austerity of appearance--but, this was much linked to being able to wash down the ships in case of contamination.

The danger of moving models. You have to be careful. Luckily I  didn't  break many things. Rigging has to be redone and few other things. Just thankful the hull or the superstructure wasn't damage.

Haven't made up my mine to dock her or put out a sea refueling from other ships.

 I hope everything is OK with the family, raider. The Chi-Town is looking good. Is it a resin kit?

 Her sister, the Albany, was tied up at the Norfolk Navy Yard back in the eighties; weird looking ships, those two.

I like the gun version best. People in liberty ports overseas understand the power in big guns, but not so much the power of a skinny little missile. Gun Boat Diplomacy and all that....Pirate

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
