^^ What he said. What specifically is your friend looking for? Styrene, ABS plastic, Carbon Fiber, Jabroc?
Composite of what?
Many plastic materials are available through your local plastics supply house. Check the business yellow pages. Most will stock or can obtain plastics of varying thicknesses. In bulk, the sheets come in 4x8 foot sheets (like plywood). The plastic house can cut to whatever size your buddy needs.
A friend of mine is looking for sheets of composite material he needs .40 x 12in square anyone have a clue?
