Composite of what?  

Many plastic materials are available through your local plastics supply house.   Check the business yellow pages.     Most will stock or can obtain plastics of varying thicknesses.   In bulk, the sheets come in 4x8 foot sheets (like plywood).  The plastic house can cut to whatever size your buddy needs.
