I had mentioned in another forum about a week ago (subject workbench mods) an auxillary workstand that I use a lot for rigging. This is a homemade stand adjustable for height, which is nice for rigging (my workbench is a fixed height. The stand is made from two sizes of PVC drain pipe. One fits down inside the other. I have holes drilled every inch in the outer piece, and I put a long bolt through a pair of these holes to set the height. Allows me to rig top of mast areas without holding my arms way up in the air (and I can see better).

looks liek a good idea, save your arms from being fatigued from holding them up so long too!

Excellent idea, thanks for sharing. Does the table portion also pivot?

Yes. I made a plywood plug for the top tube, and a half inch bolt goes through the trough, through that plug, and fastened with a stopnut so I could put some friction tension on the bolt and have it hold that tension.
