No Kankō Maru or Kanrin Maru in plastic?

Hello to all,

Were either of the the original Japanese steam warships, Kankō Maru and Kanrin Maru, ever the subject of a plastic kit, large or small? I know of the very rare, enormous (1/50) and expensive (~$800.00) Imai Kanrin Maru wooden kit.

It seems odd that there are replicas of both ships afloat now, but no plastic kits of either in current production.
