A Friend of mine wants to detail his Kit as much as possible. We have both heard that there are interior Detail Sets for this Kit to replicate the Engine Room and other internal Areas. Have any of you heard of these Sets and where they may be available. Your help will be much appreciated.....Cheers mark

I guess I hit the wrong key.The kits, you mention ,I have never seen. I would check around real well.Much can be done in scratchbuilding. You would need a whole lot of info on the vessel.

I wouldn,t even know how to advise on that, except contact the museum in CANADA that cares for the CANADIAN CORVETTE whose name I have forgotten just now. good luck  TANKER-builder

Here's an example of how it's done.

All scratch made though.

Saw the above model at Scalemodelworld,Telford, last month.Fantastic bit of modelmaking.Builder said it had taken him 3 years. If you want a good primary reference-Anatomy of the Ship"Flower Class Corvette Agassiz" is worth getting hold of.

I also saw it at Telford,I was completely in awe of what the builder had done with the Matchbox Flower, hardly seems possible.

Which Corvette is it? I know it represents a Canadian Corvette due to the location of the pom-pom gun band stand .

What a fantastic and unique presentation!

One question though regarding the models size. The first photo (with man in frame) appears that the model is a lot bigger than 1:72 scale. Looks like 1:48 scale, any thoughts?

That building and planning of the corvette model would make a great magazine article...

The model represents HMCS Agassiz, and the modelmakers name is Barry Sharman.
