It seems like ship model building is experiencing a kind of renaissance.  Trumpeter and Academy are coming out with some really nice, diverse subjects.

Don't forget Zvezda!  Some of their recent offerings are among the best ship model kits I have ever built, and the Dreadnought came out before Trumpeter's.

Don,

How could I forget about Zvezda!  They do produce some real nice stuff.

I only have Zvezdas 'Varyag' and 'Kursk' both in 350 scale and both are excellent kits, I'm even thinking about getting a second 'Varyag'! But Warshipguy, you are a bad man, my sights are now set upon 'Indianapolis', 'Yorktown' and 'Hornet'! If my dear lady complains then I'm pointing her in your direction! Whistling Jockster.

On the bench-1/350 Zvezda Varyag, Trumpeter Slava class Varyag and Tamiya CVN65 Enterprise. 1/400 Academy Titanic and 1/96 DeAgostini Victory.
