I've gone through a couple of computers since then. No luck on what I have currently saved but I have several old external HDD's that I'll look through.

Thanks for posting that Kevin!  GM had sent me a file a couple of years ago; however, I had not printed it and lost it when my computer went kaput.

Hi GM, I must apologise, I've just sent you a PM asking if you could also send me the IMAI instructions and promising to upload onto picasa in due course. It then occurred to me to search pete colemans forum for imai and (not surprisingly, as this is the absolute bees knees of info on modelling victory) that's already been done by one of the members, Rob; link here:

picasaweb.google.com/.../ImaiVictoryInstructions

For anyone else looking for something clearer than the heller heiroglyphics, these do look miles better. Mind you, it seems you've still got to set aside a few years of your life to build the kit!

GM,

Do you think I could talk you out of copy of the instructions .pdf?  I lost mine when the computer crashed.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks but I will be dead by then....

I have been working on and off fore almost three years, and am just now installing the upper gun deck.

A little while back I realized that if I were to build her to the main tops, I'd be happy.

I've been to that site before but I've now saved it in my favorites. Thanks!

BTW, I'm not sure how I want to rig the Victory but, more than likely, without sails. I have too many time consuming plastic sailing ships in my stash just now and won't be starting on the Victory for quite a while, but when I've made up my mind, if I'm going to rig her without sails, you can have the sails for the cost of postage.

Yes, the pictures of the box and contents showed the sails - abeit slightly dented sails.

Thanks for taking the time to scan the instructions.

Imai version of the instructions on the 1/100 HMS Victory
Posted by 1943Mike on Monday, February 25, 2013 11:49 AM

I just won a Heller 1/100 HMS Victory on eBay. I seem to recall that there was a discussion on this site regarding the best English instructions for that kit. Does anyone have the Imai version of the instructions for that Heller Kit? If so I'd be grateful if he/she would email them to me?
