hms belfast 1/600 airfix question
Posted by Misty on Friday, March 1, 2013 2:38 AM

on the hull there are lines of "pimples". in photos they look like either portholes or openings. Can anyone please tell me what they are, and if they should be through holes or glazed or drilled and blanked off?

Please be careful with using the real HMS Belfast as any kind of guide for building the Airfix kit; the kit depicts her during WWII and the ship is as she existed at the end of her service life in 1963, although she is painted in a WWII camouflage scheme.  I would research photos of her as she existed at the time you wish to model her.
