I've been catching-up on my photography lately, so here's the Niko kit of USS Luzon, a pre-war gunboat that saw service in China, the same areas and time frame as the more famous USS Panay.

Nice kit.  1/700 is a bit of a chore for me, as I prefer 1/350th scale WWII and 1/96th scale Civil War subjects, but overall I had a good time with this build, and it went fast for me.  I was super psyched and surprised when she took Best Ship and Best of Show at the Long Island Scale Modelers show a few weeks ago!
