I recently bought this 1/150th scale kit. It is a little smaller than the Airfix 1/144th scale one. It appears to be a very accurate kit but has a few niggling quirks. eg. Ratlines moulded in styrene, and the moulded in gammoning to name two. Another thing is (and this seems to be common with a lot of plastic sailing ship kits) is that they have moulded the parrals on all of the upper masts in the upper position. Why oh why can the parrals not be supplied as separate parts I just do not know? Very difficult to change if you want to make your model with all the upper yards stepped down. As I already had the old Airfix kit, I did some comparisons. Yes there are some things wrong on the Airfix kit, but bear in mind this kit was made back in the 1970's when the Vasa's hull was still incomplete and was being sprayed with water to keep it preserved. Revell had the advantage of the complete hull to study that is now dry in the Vasa museum, as well as 40 years of research by the museum on the ship and their collaboration. The Airfix kit is actually pretty good considering its age and with some work could be made into an accurate replica. In fact I was quite surprised to find that the ornate carvings on the Airfix kit were a lot sharper and better detailed than on the Revell kit. The most difficult thing to put right on the Airfix kit will be the removal of the dormer type window on the galleries to each side of the stern on the ship.
