Good news for ship modelers from Trumpeter: a new 1/700 H.M.S. Barham in the handsome, trunked funnel configuration: http://www.trumpeter-china.com/a/en/news/20130608/2414.html .
I believe she looked about like this (undoubtedly with some minor modifications) from 1931 until she was sunk in 1941. I tend to think the Queen Elizabeth-class ships looked best in their original, two-funnel configurations, but I think they were still mighty handsome vessels with trunked funnels. (I've always thought the final versions, with the outsized block-shaped superstructures, wrecked them appearance-wise. This kit looks like a fine basis for a scale model.
Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.
