Heller 1/100 HMS Victory Question

I have no idea of how to contact Mr. Coleman, but I just registered on the site.  The correct answer is "square."  All the other options should stay in the "not" column.

When I clicked on the appropriate buttons I got a message telling me that my registration was successful, and that I would be notified when the administrators had "approved" my membership.  Frankly, that sort of behavior turns me off.  I don't have much implication to go to that site again - even if I do get "approved."

Later edit:  It seems GMorrison and I were typing our responses at the same time.  Having read his explanation of why the moderators adopted their policy, I can understand and respect it. 

But it doesn't give you the option of making up your own response to the great question; it is, in effect, a multiple-choice question.  "Square" is the only one of the choices that makes sense.

I think you overestimate the complexity of the question. My guess if that if you say "with sails" you'll be just fine. "Complicated", "extremely time consuming to model", or "enough to make George Campbell take a drink" would probably do as well.

That site was destroyed in a hack attack some years back, so much so that all previous records of posts were lost. This was particularly painful; as one of the founders, and a great wit, had died and his ruminations went with the rest of the data.

The point is that the site mods will read your application, and as they prize a little humor, a good response will be appreciated.

I, too, have registered in that forum and have been a member for years.  It is a small group of excellent modelers and all around good people - you will be happy you made the effort to get thru the registration.   My logs (Heller Victory and Revell Constitution) are included there - in fact I generally post on that site before all others.  

(The old question used to be "Who was Nelson's flag captain at Trafalgar?").  Altho the site began as a reference for the Heller Victory, it has since evolved to include any and all models and eras...

(And I won't reveal the true identity of Mr. GMorrison!)

Thanks to all who offered suggestions and encouragement.  In the four days between posting this plea for help, and having it approved for posting, I finally did get the answer right, on my own no less.  As you can imagine, I WAS reading more into the question than was ultimately necessary.  Depending on how you define "rig", there could be many answers, but given the selectable choices, there was only one right answer, and as we see, it was "square"

I'm all registered, and it is very definitely a very useful reference, as is this great site.

I do believe the rig the Victory carried at Trafalgar was 'SQUARE'. But, I agree that they have a really unusual registration process on their site.
