Tamiya paints for Tirpitz?
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, February 20, 2004 3:27 PM
Im going to try to tap into the vast experience of the forum again ;)
I had an old academy 1:350 Tirpitz that i started way back and desided to finish it so i could have a slightly better consience (and less bi***ing from my girlfriend about models lying all around)

The thing is that the paining instructions on the academy set really stinks IMHO.
So is there anyone that have a good paint reference (perhaps from a tamiya kit) that they could scan or take a picture of and mail me?

thanks in advance

Here's a good reference for you:

White Ensign and Testors have a line of marine colors matched to Kriegsmarine colors. The White Ensign are enamel paints while the Testors are water based acrylics.
