To make this reply, first, I opened another browser tab.  I then searched out the image location (FSM requires the image be hosted somewhere on the net, flickr, photobucket, etc,)  I right-clicked o nthe image, and used "Save Image Location."

Then, I chose the "Use Rich Formatting" in the Reply window.

From within the rich formatting window, I selected "Insert Image" button (just to the right of center in the bottom row at the top of the edit window).  Which opens a box which asks for the image location.  I used CTRL+V to paste the saved image location data.  I could have used right-click and selected "Paste" as easily.

the image, and white control dots appear around it.  IHovering the mouse over the BR one gave an arrow, which I used to drag the image to appear like this:

Any online source for images can generally work this way:

(AutoCAD rendering of street sign models)
The only thing to watch for is that the file structures or permission can change

Hope that helps some.

Gentlemen,

Thank you! I will give it a try. Anyway, I have posted two photos on the www.papermodelers.com site.

I just learned how to do it myself - mainly because I just bought a new Mac and figured it was time to enter, if not the 21st century, at least the 20th.  There's a thread over on the "Suggestions and Feedback" section of this Forum.  For what it's worth, here's the link - cs.finescale.com/.../1673843.aspx .

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Have you tried the help forum?  People who ask for photo posting help there usually end up with enough help to post pictures.  Latest one to benefit is one of our frequent posters from this forum.

Greetings all!

I have started what for me is a new adventure in modeling; a paper-card ship model. I have started the JSC kit of the German Large Cruiser S.M.S. Goeben, aka the Turkish Yavuz. I will build her in German service.

Please notice that I did not use the term "Battlecruiser". The Germans did not use this term until after the First World War, referring to these ships as "Grosse Kreuzer" not "Schlactkreuzer".

Anyway, I have rescaled the basic 1/250 scale kit down to 1/350 because of the greater availability of after-market detail products, and that it will fit better into my collection.

I would like to post a build log here but have never been successful with downloading photos on this site. I will also post a build log on www.papermodelers.com, which is a far, far easier site for downloading pictures. Can anyone offer posting advise?

Thanks!
