Freetime Hobbies has the Revell Type IXc on pre-order status for $78.95 and due to arrive in November. Placed my order last night.Wink

Didn't even know they had a Type  IX out. I over heard  someone at a local model show talking about it and I checked up on it. Now we need the pe goodies to go with it. Should be out by early November. Revell of Germany keeps cranking out superior detailed kits for a fraction what the Chinese kits are going for.

I remember hearing about the release of the Type IX a couple of years back, I think about the time I got my VIIc. Ship's are not a big part of my selection, but I would like to add this one. Hannants have it for £70, so your lucky at that price. I don't think I will get one until the new year, so I will look forward to a peak at yours plastic.

Well as luck would have it, I just got back from Chicago and toured the Science and Industry Museum just to see the U-505.
