Hello Friends.

New year, new pictures. I have been working in the hangar deck.

Main doors on elevator nº 2

Secondly, details on the port Wall in center hangar. I have put the decals, doors, and pipes on the wall, (more details to be added).

And finally, the name of the ship is now in place.

That,s all at the moment.

Thanks for viewing and happy new year.

This is such amazing work! I'm always in awe when I see how you're progressing.

Where did you say you are going to display it? You must have a very large hobby roomBig Smile

Hello!

Looks like you did a big chunk of work at once this time! Excellent, as always! Good luck with the other elevators and have a nice day

Hello Eagle514

I think with the plane prints you mean the decals for these planes. The tail marks and some other marks are made on corel draw and then printed on virgin decal sheet.

After a month I have almost finished the elevator nº 3.
Here are the photos of the construction process

And the painting and weathering

Only three more elevators left

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Just stumbled upon this work of art! Very excellent work!!! I am considering building a 1/192 scale USS Saratoga CV-60. The wife thinks I'm nuts, but it's something I've always wanted to do. Looking at your work is an inspiration! One question, how did you get the aircraft prints to that scale?

Thanks Raider-hall. Probably I will start it soon.

I have recently painted the hull, after the preshading. Take a look  Grey color is still grey primer. I am now adding details to the front hull.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thank you Raider-hall for your comments.

New updates on the carrier. As I posted before I am working on the hull details. A few months ago I purchased a mini-lathe, and I hadn't had the oportunity to work with it yet, because I was waiting for some accesories for it. So I have finally got this pieces and my first use has been the mooring bitts sited on the bow of the carrier.

Here are some photos of the process. I used a 3,2 mm. styrene rod to start with

The mushroom is finally done...

And attached on its place

That's all for the moment. Thanks for viewing

Hello, after a long time without posting, I will try to continue updating my build a little bit faster
So here we go:

I am working on the hull adding a lot of details. This is a tedious task, because of the little rings that are attached all over the hull. I think their purpose is for safety reasons when the crew perform maintenance tasks on the hull. Due to the rings are too little to replicate them at 1/200 scale, I have glued a little piece of brass where the rings are located.

I am also preparing the master for the future EA-6B Prowler. Here are a couple of images.

That´s all for the moment

Hope you enjoy these updates.

I have just finished the Seahawkwith a lot of headaches. The rotor is very small and I have had a lot of problems attaching the blades on it.
Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of the helo finished.

Thank you very much for viewing
