Gold Medal Models (Loren Perry) and/or White Ensign.  Both sets are good.  And necessary.  Mind the fit on the major pieces - it is poor.

I seen a White Ensign set for a Ticonderoga cruiser at Free Time Hobbies.

Ugh! A motorized kit! I haven't received mine yet but I guess it's no wonder why the price seemed so low. Hopefully the WEM set will help me do justice to the ship. Thanks for the help...now I can get my hands on an excellent PE set.

The Tico is in reality not a Trumpeter kit it is a Dragon kit but is boxed as a motorized kit by Minihobby which is in fact a subsidiary of Trumpeter. So any PE sets for the Dragon kit will in fact work with this kit. and the only set i've found is from White Ensign in 1/350 scale.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/

PE Set For Trumpeter 1/350 80701 CG-47 U.S.S TICONDEROGA

Hello:

I plan to build Trumpeter's 1/350 CG-47 U.S.S. Ticonderoga Guided Missile Cruiser & I'd like to find a PE set for it. I've checked around the web but I can't come up with anything, including Gold Medal Models' site. Do any fellow modelers know of a source for a PE set for the CG-47, or even a "generic" set that would give me some fine details for my build? This is the first time I haven't been able to find a PE set quickly for any project.

S.O.S!

Thanks,

Pete
