British Baltic Fishery Protection Service
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, February 23, 2004 6:09 PM
This service was part of that well known and respected shipping company MI6/SIS !! Evil [}:)]
They used captured E-Boats (S-Boots) to run agents etc into the Soviet occupied lands in the eastern Baltic and I was thinking of converting my Revel S-100 boat to one of those used in this "service".
Are there any photos or drawings available of these boats? Also any ideas of the colour scheme?
I think that S-130 was one of the boats used.

Dai:
While trolling the Internet for information on the MI-5 TV show I came across the official MI web site ... why not ask them?

If they ROFL at your request, try the National Maritime Museum.

Sounds like a really neat subject, I hope your search is successful.
Good luck,
Bruce

Bruce,
Checked out MI5 and MI6. Left messages with both and the Intelegence History Journal.
I should get something from one or other. Probably get a call from ASIO.
On another topic I took some photos of a Wirraway with internals showing. Which will post in a/c when I get rhe roll finished.
Thanks,
Dai

LOL Dai:
I remember over 30 years ago when I went to work for Transport Canada as a maintenance technician for airport avionics; the RCMP actually went around and quizzed the neighbours about any bad habits I might have had.

Good thing Mrs Hughes never found out who barfed in her roses after his 18th birthday!

I'll also look forward to the Wirraway photos. It will be interesting to compare them to the Yale ones I have. Haven't started the Yale yet ...
Regards,
Bruce
