It was the Lindbergh kit I still have it in my stash partly started.

JimNTENN

Really nice build. I built a smaller CV-10(maybe 1/570) years ago for a friend. Don't remember who put it out...maybe Revell....for some reason Lindberg sticks in my mind but that may not be right, either. Anyway, I remember masking and painting that same camo. At that scale that was what really caught the eye.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/

Sorry, MM, I meant your Ticonderoga, not Hornet.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

plasticjunkie - thanks for your kind words.

subfixer - thanks for your kind compliments. You mentioned the "Hornet", what "Hornet"?

I think you meant to say that Artama spent a little more time on this than he did the CV-14 Ticonderoga shown at the same time in another thread. In fact this one took him much more time with the addition of  full PE upgrade set and PE figure set.
