If it's not too late (or when it gets knocked loose in the future) on Flight I DDGs, the helo lands with the long axis in line with the angled white line on the deck.

On Flight II DDGs that have a helo hangar, an SH-60B/MH-60R (tailwheel is pretty far forward on both) will land going straight forward (in line with the ship), an MH-60S (tailwheel way back like an Army blackhawk) will land at the angle.

If you ever opt to build a flight II DDG with the hangar open, the helo goes in nose-first with the back end toward the back end of the ship.

You ship is beautiful and really well done, especially for your first shot at it!
