This icebreaker is painted in a red and yellow I'm not familiar with. What are the best matches for the new USCG Red and Yellow?

The red is a standard red color, not an vermilion red. The CG "racing stripe" has a "red orange" appearence and a different shade from the red icebreaker hull.

The "yellow" you speak of is not yellow but is refered to as "spar" or "buff". It's a difficult color to mix, most modelers paint this as yellow,  sand,  tan or  orange, all incorrect. White Ensign models offers the "Colorcoat" line of paints, and "Spar" is one of them.  Are you going to build an icebreaker?

I am scratchbuilding a icebreaker based on the Mackinaw pictured above. A 1/700 waterline. It isn't very accurate. I'll post a few pictures when I'm finished.
