Okay, then it was likely not a kit.  Most of those ship projects in PM and similar mags were scratch built projects.  Scratch modeling was more popular in the days when the mags ran that type of article.  

Are you looking for more info on the prototype ship itself, or on that particular model. If the latter, it will be pretty hard unless you can trace things back to when you received it and start tracing further back.

The actual blue prints were designed by Harold T Bodkin and produced by Popular Mechanics.

Sovereign of the Seas info

I was wondering if anyone had any info on this model. It is the Sovereign of the Seas, a wooden ship model from 1933. It is partially finished, with instructions and good condition. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
