Well I know that Revell Germany and Italeri do a LOT of mold trading. And I recognize the figures from the Italeri jeep kit.

Now that stikpusher has reminded me, I do remember that Italeri kit.  Thanks for the memory jog.

I think that the LCM kit is gonna be a re box of an Italeri mold from 2008. Looking at the link, the Jeep is certainly the Italeri kit.

The "New Arrivals" and "Pre-orders" pages of the Freetime Hobbies website seem to be the best way to keep up with the kits that are on the way.  Here's the latest: http://www.freetimehobbies.com/rss.php?categoryid=2173 .

That Revell Germany 1/144 LSM looks particularly interesting.  Seems to be packed with Sherman tanks and trucks.

The Hasegawa 1/700 U-boat "4 Pack" seems to be a reissue of the old kit that had a Type VII and a Type IX in it.  It was a nice kit in its day, and I suspect it holds up quite well.

And Revell Germany has jumped into the great 1/700 Fletcher-class destroyer sweepstakes.  Let's hope it isn't just the old Matchbox version. (I fear it may be.)

Also, the Revell US and Revell Germany websites list a 1/35 LCM with a

jeep and trailer in it.  This one confuses me a bit.  I don't remember seeing it before (note:  my poor old brain doesn't remember lots of stuff these days), but the instructions, which Revell Germany kindly makes available online, give it a copyright date of 2008.  On the basis of the instructions it looks mighty nice.  And the "Off-Road Vehicle," as the US website calls it (the rest of us call it a Jeep) certainly is NOT the old Monogram one from our childhood.  And the choice of color schemes for the Jeep is really nifty.

Here's the link: http://www.revell.com/germany/military/80-3000.html#.U3EU1S9H1z8 .
