At a recent model club meeting a friend sitting in front of me was looking through an old IPMS Journal, reading an article about a scratchbuilt HMS Inflexible (the 1881 version). The article included centerfold plans! I asked my friend to scan and make a copy of the drawings for me, and last night he gave me a copy of whole article including the centerfold drawing. I have long wanted to model that ship, so this is a good start to such a project. The drawing does not have much in the way of hull lines, but I can probably make an educated guess at the shape, or else do it as a waterline build. To me this is a very interesting era in the evolution of the large warship!
