Don, thanks. Actually saw a clip on "Better Homes and Gardens" where they said to paint a coat of the base coat to make a more professional line. Will have to try this next time.

Use blue 3M masking tape and light coats through he airbrush to prevent bleed through.  

I might add that if you are spraying, then shooting down from the tape, and not up towards it will help prevent paint from being sprayed up under the edge. Thin layers, two or three if needed so that nothing has a chance to well up and leak under the tape edge. And I agree w/ Don, Tamiya masking tape is a must.

Some things to try to make masking work better. Use Tamiya masking tape- very thin and conforms to rough surfaces better than hardware store tapes.  Available at hobby shops.

Then, paint a thin layer of the base color, or some clear.  Any paint that wicks under tape will not be visible.  This is known as "sealing" the tape.
