Interesting because I do model a lot of the Argentine forces.

The Boise was a member of the Brooklyn class, so plans of that ship should at least be a big help. Floating Drydock ( www.floatingdrydock.com ) has several sheets - for reasonable prices.

The plans are on the way.  Here's what I have so far: Iron Shipwright's USS Nashville (A sister ship to the Boise) which is a nice resin kit with photo etched details, photo etched catapults (in case I mess up the ones that come with the kit) turned brass gun barrels, brass propellers, and turned brass 20mm guns from Poland.   I'll post some pictures when I get a chance.

I've received most of the aftermarket parts and so far I  have only been cleaning up the pin holes in the resin and looking over the new arrivals.  RB Models 150mm gun barrels are almost a requirement, they are beautiful.  Master Model's 20mm Oerlkon guns are so tiny I had to get better magnifiers, but they too will look good if I don't mess them up assembling them.  Alliance's 40mm twin and quad mounts are improvements over the ones supplied in the kit also (just less air bubbles to fix.)  heir catapults have mere detail then those that come with the kit  but the kit supplied ones are easier to assemble.  The plans from Floating Drydock are of the USS Nashville are great and detailed enough to provide a starting place for the Boise.  Both ships went through several refits during the war so no one  plan will give me everything I want and leaves me dome flexibility in the build.  I'm learning new techniques and having fun so and I'm learning that patience is one of the requirements of building in this scale.
