There is a photo there of her in March 1944, which may or may not give you an idea of the measure she wore on D-Day.

As it happens, I'm rereading Cornelius Ryan's "The Longest Day", and though there is no photo of the Corry included in the book, there is a photo of the Augusta showing her in what looks like Measure 12.  Again, I'm afraid I don't know if that's an indication of the measure the Corry wore.

I was surprised to learn that there were 3 ships named for William Merrill Corry; I did not know that.

thanks baron  the photo was taken late mar 44 she was in mea 22 . but i saw other ships on d-day with a zebra/ razzle-dazzle  paint job so i wasn't sure ,now i am

22 looks to be the best info that can be verified previous to d day.

Yes indeed the CORRY is listed as being in MS22

Generally,  most Atlantic Theater assets at the time seem to have been in MS22

To build the Corry, you will have to mix and match a few parts. Basically start with the Buchanan, replace the round face deckhouse under the bridge with the flat faced one used on the Laffey, and replace the 1.1 and 20 mm guns on the aft deckhouse with 2 x 20 mm twins.
