That is a truly nice ship! Well done. Great paintwork.
I suppose I could google it, but what's the history behind her? What kind of ship? Where/when did she sail, etc.?
Hi;
That is one well done model .She certainly is colorful . Weren't these used in the Med and around Constantinople ?
Millard,
Never get tired of pictures of your work.
Scott
Scott good to here from you.Thanks going to the Nats? The Chebec or sometimes spelled Xebec like mine is around the late 1700's.They were used mostly in the Med. The ship was used my Morocco and some by France and possible by Spain. They were a very fast very manuverable. when we had trouble with North Africa (Tripoli) these ships went up against The USS Consitution and others. Just a very short history of the ship.
Rod
Rod,
I agree with Scott, I never get tired of looking at your work, I can usually find something I missed before.
Steve
Hi Rod,
No, no Nats for a while, too many other commitments, like getting my Constitution done so I can start a wooden build.
