That seems sensible to me.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Cutty Sark Re-do
Posted by PANZER826 on Saturday, July 26, 2014 12:11 PM

I' m attempting to disassemble and re-do an old Revell Cutty Sark model which I built back in the 70's. After finally getting it apart, painting it and starting re-assembly I' m wondering if I should dullcote it before rigging it with the thread and installing the sails.  I'm planning on attempting furled sails using tissue and was wondering if the dullcote would ruin the tissued sails or the thread for rigging. Any thoughts? Thanks for any advice.
