That's a neat idea and I've seen such a thing in seafood restaurants in OREGON. Just don't be surprised when someone makes a bad joke about where you shot that !

I’ve been working on this on and off for over a few years. It was a badly damages Cutty Sark from Hurricane Katrina (that witch) and I figured what the heck, I do a bow section with just the foremast. .  I originally was going to mount it where it could hang on the wall, but thought it looked a bit better mounted.  The backside is simply flush with a blank off plate.  The foremast with be fully rigged with backstays. Sorry the sideways post, can’t figure out how to rotate.
